The concept of localization
The localization is to process the source language according to the requirements from specific country/area or from the translation market, making the destination language comply with the specific industry market. The target language’s culture, habitude and character should be considered during the process of localization. It also includes the processing on software product, so that the software could meet the specific language and function requirements of the customer on the market. The possible related work may be words translation, user interface layout and adjustment, local feature development, online documentation and printing handbook preparation, as well as the software quality assurance activity which guarantees the proper functioning of the localized software.
